Retired footballer John Hartson spoke about his experience with testicular cancer as he opened a mobile unit in Carmarthenshire for the cancer charity Tenovus.

The 34-year-old Wales striker, who also played for teams such as Celtic and Arsenal, said he could have avoided his problems if he had gone to the doctors when he found a lump four years ago.

The Swansea-born player is now urging other young men to check themselves and take warning signs seriously. He spoke to Abigail Neal.
