A host of stars are taking to the stage in a concert at the Wales Millennium Centre in aid of Children in Need.

Only Men Aloud!, Stereophonics, opera singer Bryn Terfel and Swansea's Bonnie Tyler top the billing.

Other performers include Cerys Matthews, Britain's Got Talent's Shaheen and Faryl Smith and West End and Broadway star John Owen Jones.

Last year people in Wales pledged £1.2m towards the BBC charity, which raised over £38m.

Extracts of the show will be screened on BBC One's Children in Need programme with Terry Wogan, Tess Daly and Alesha Dixon.

Members of the public can join presenters Josie D'Arby and Cerys Matthews and Pudsey for more Children in Need fun in the Wales Millennium Centre Glanfa foyer in Cardiff Bay.

See the Strictly Come Dancing for Children in Need rehearsals

A special Strictly Come Dancing-style dance-off will be held featuring Wales Today presenters Jamie Owen and Lucy Owen and weatherman Derek Brockway.

Jamie will be joining his BBC Radio Wales morning show co-presenter Louise Elliott while Lucy will be partnered by her husband, fellow X-Ray presenter Rhodri Owen and Derek will be dancing with Wales Today's Claire Summers.

Last year Jamie, Derek and Lucy were among the presenters who tried their luck as singers in a choir called Only News Aloud created for BBC Children in Need by Tim Rhys-Evans, musical director of Only Men Aloud!.

Children in Need is on BBC One Wales on Friday 20 November from 1900 GMT with coverage of the Cardiff concert and dance challenge at approximately 1945 and 2045 GMT.
