Charges follow street stabbings

A 19-year-old man has been charged with two offences of grievous bodily harm with intent after two men were found stabbed in a street.

North Wales Police said the accused man, who lives in the Flint area, was due to appear before Mold magistrates on Tuesday.

Officers found the injured men after coming across a disturbance in Sydney Street, Flint, early on Sunday.

The men, aged 27 and 28, were taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital.

The 27-year-old had serious chest injuries, and the 28-year-old was released from hospital after being treated for arm and back injuries.
