A look at the Berlin Wall: 1981

Twenty years ago the wall separating West Germany and East Germany was breached. The fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989, a prelude to German re-unification, was seen as a key marker in the end of the Cold War.

Welsh broadcaster Wynford Vaughan Thomas reports from the Berlin Wall as part of 1981 documentary Wynford and the Wall.
