'I feel so sad about her'

Friends of Ermatati Rogers have spoken of their concern for the woman when she initially went missing and their shock and distress when her murder was discovered 18 months later.

Kavita Pengwah met Ms Rogers, known as Tati to her friends, at her local mosque in 2003. She described the 41 year-old as kind, generous and funny and spoke of her growing concern for Tati after repeated attempts to contact her.

Mrs Pengwah said she and other close friends of Mrs Rogers were unaware of any relationship between her and 28-year-old Lukasz Reszpondek.
