20mph school speed zone advice

New guidance issued to Welsh councils has urged the increased use of 20mph speed zones around schools.

The assembly government guidance will also look at crash rates on rural roads to see if limits there should be cut.

Road safety campaigners have welcomed the new guidance, but a motorists' organisation said the 20mph zones devalue speed limits.
