Boy 'recovers' from dog allergy


A boy who had such a severe allergy to dogs that he once fell unconscious is finally able to be close to them again after taking medication.

Daniel Pearce, 13, from Tredegar in the south Wales valleys, has been taking the medicine derived from dog hair to help him combat his allergy.

Consultant Adam Fox from London's St Thomas's Hospital explains the treatment Daniel receives.
