Growing problem of seagull pests


Cardiff has one of the largest populations of seagulls in the UK, with experts believing that it will only grow over coming years.

Nesting seagulls have been plaguing Cardiff businesses and residents alike, stealing food, ripping bin bags and dive bombing people who go near nest sites.

Cardiff Council uses a replacement egg scheme to control bird numbers but some have called for tougher measures to tackle the growing population. Nicola Smith reports.
