'Distraught' after cancer mistake

Deborah Charles was given an all clear after biopsies for stomach, bowel and breast cancer by Wrexham Maelor Hospital.

It then transpired that several errors had been made in the screening of tissue samples for cancer at the hospital.

Mrs Charles said she was left distraught when she was told she would need to be re-tested however further tests have given her the all clear.
