Critics won over by Cardiff venue

When Glamorgan was awarded the first Ashes test of 2009 it was seen as a controversial move by the England and Wales cricket board.

One of the fiercest critics of the test being held in Cardiff was Stephen Brenkley from the Independent newspaper.

However after watching England Play Australia in the Glamorgan stadium he now says Cardiff is an excellent test cricket ground and will advocate further test matches in the ground in Sophia Gardens.
