Man, 21, rescued after cliff fall

A 21-year-old man is being treated in hospital after falling 30ft (9m) from cliffs at Constitution Hill in Aberystwyth.

Coastguard and RNLI lifeboat crews were called out at 2215 BST on Wednesday after the alarm was raised.

A coastguard spokesperson said the man had been walking in the area when he decided to do "a bit of climbing".

He was taken to Bronglais hospital and is understood to have suffered a broken leg in the fall.
