Motorcyclist dies after collision

A 50-year-old motorcyclist who died in a collision on the A40 in Monmouthshire on Sunday has been named by police.

Glyn Mortimer from Machen, near Caerphilly died in the collision at around 0950 BST near Glangwryney, Abergavenny.

The crash involved a Honda motorcycle and a silver BMW car.

Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact Gwent Police on 01633 838111 or the collision investigation unit on 01633 642404.
