Man, 60, is charged with murder

Kenneth Auger was found dead at his home on Saturday night

Police have charged a 60-year-old man with the murder of a man who was found dead at his sheltered housing bungalow.

Kenneth Auger, aged 64, was discovered in the Twynyrodyn area of Merthyr Tydfil on Saturday after police were alerted at 2230 GMT.

The man will appear before magistrates in Pontypridd on 26 December.

South Wales Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them on 01443 743978 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
