Ermatati Rodgers lived alone but had a close circle of friends

Police treating the disappearance of a 41-year-old woman as murder have received a "positive" response to an appeal on Crimewatch.

Ermatati Rodgers vanished from her flat in Wrexham in January, leaving her money, clothes and passport behind.

Det Insp Mark Hughes said officers wanted to find her Nokia 6100 phone and people who bought a Starburst case at a Wrexham store for £30 that same month.

North Wales Police are offering a £100,000 reward for information.

The force said it would be evaluating the information received from Monday's programme on BBC1.

Ms Rodgers, from Indonesia and known locally as "Tati", was last seen at shops near her home in Gwersyllt on 4 January.

Police say her disappearance is completely out of character which is why they are treating it as a murder.

A 26-year-old man was arrested in April and re-arrested in August on suspicion of murder. He remains on police bail pending further enquiries.

Police have said the indications are Ms Rodgers was planning to return home in February but investigations there give no indication she left the UK.

On the day she disappeared she was filmed at the nearby Somerfield store.

DI Hughes appeared on Crimewatch to appeal for help with the investigation.

He said: "We're need to find Tati's phone, which is a Nokia 6100. We're also very interested in a suitcase which was purchased from TJ Hughes in January."

Ms Rodgers is described as having long black waist length hair. When she was last seen she was wearing a purple hat and scarf, a three quarter length black coat and black trousers with a white stripe down the side.

She had been in Wrexham for 11 years and lived alone but had a close circle of friends, according to police.

On the day she disappeared, she sent a text message to a friend arranging to meet at lunch time on 5 January.

But she failed to turn up and her friend later raised the alarm.
