Two arrested after man's murder

The street was cordoned off by police after the murder.

Two people arrested on suspicion of murder after a young man was stabbed to death on an estate in Bridgend county are still being questioned by police.

Officers said they were called to a house at Mynydd Glas in Nantyffyllon near Maesteg at 2217GMT on Friday.

They said the incident followed an altercation between two groups. Two other people are being questioned about other offences.

The victim was taken to hospital at Bridgend where he was pronounced dead.

A team of detectives is investigating and an incident room has been set up at Bridgend police station.

The street, on a modern estate in the village, was cordoned off on Saturday.

South Wales Police said the victim has not been formally identified and his next-of-kin have not yet been informed.

The four under arrest remain in custody and enquiries are continuing.
