Body is found after storage fire

Police are investigating after a body was found following a fire at a storage facility.

Officers made the discovery after they were called to Storewithus on Bridgend Industrial Estate at around 2145 GMT on Thursday.

They said a number of caravans were also destroyed in the blaze.

South Wales Police said they are not treating the fire as suspicious at this stage but are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The body has yet to be identified but a post mortem examination is being conducted to determine the exact cause of death.
