Two-day search finds body in lake

Police have begun an investigation into the discovery of a man's body at Lake Vyrnwy near Llanfyllin, Powys, on Monday after a two-day search.

Officers, firefighters and an RAF search and rescue helicopter crew began hunting on Sunday night after reports of a man jumping into the lake.

The search of the site was hampered by poor weather conditions and had to be resumed the next day.

Dyfed-Powys Police have not yet named the man.
