Man dies after pub 'disturbance'

A 60-year-old man has died following a disturbance outside a pub in the south Wales valleys on Sunday evening.

Police are awaiting the outcome of a post mortem examination on the man, named as Dennis White of Cefnpennar, Mountain Ash.

A 39-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the incident which happened outside the Aberdare Hotel in Mountain Ash. She remains in custody.

The death is currently being treated as unexplained by police.
