Mortars find by man with detector

A man with a metal detector has found three unexploded mortar devices on land in Denbighshire

North Wales Police said a safety cordon had been put around the area after the discovery between Llangollen and Rhos on Sunday afternoon.

The metal detector enthusiast walked into a police station to tell officers about his find.

Police have called in a specialist team of bomb disposal experts from Chester to deal with the devices.
