BBC Wales news website wants to discover how you view the world.

We are asking anyone with a camera to send in their digital pictures to turn into a picture gallery every week.

The images do not have to be linked to news events - they can be anything from your favourite view, your friends and family or your holiday snaps from around Wales.

We are building up a weekly record of life around the nation - check them out by following the link on the right.

The galleries appear every Wednesday and once a month we publish a special gallery around a particular theme.

Please give us your name, where you live and brief details about the pictures you send us.

E-mail them to newsonlinepictures.wales@bbc.co.uk

You need to ensure that your submission adheres to the BBC's Terms of Use.

The BBC's web team will retain your photograph and contact details and will only use your contact details to get in touch with regard to your submission and its use by the BBC.

Your details will not be passed to anyone else.

Please visit the BBC's Privacy & Cookies Policy (www.bbc.co.uk/privacy) for more information.

We cannot guarantee that your photograph will be shown on the website.

If you submit a photo that shows anyone other than yourself, you must obtain their permission first and if the person is a child you will need to obtain their parent's written consent.

If you submit an image, you do so in accordance with the BBC's Terms and Conditions.

In contributing to BBC News you agree to grant us a royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to publish and otherwise use the material in any way that we want, and in any media. (See the Terms and Conditions for the full terms of our rights.)

It's important to note, however, that you still own the copyright to everything you contribute to BBC News. This means you are perfectly free to take what you have produced and re-publish it somewhere else. Please note that if your image is accepted, we will publish your name alongside it on BBC Wales news website. The BBC cannot guarantee that all pictures will be published and we reserve the right to edit your comments.
