Rail delays claim due to action

Most of the driver managers of Arriva Trains Wales are beginning a period of work-to-rule as part of a pay dispute.

A total of 27 of the 29 managers are involved, despite the Transport Salaried Staff Association saying talks with the rail firm had been "positive".

The union said more train delays were likely as a result and a strike is planned for later this month.

Arriva Trains Wales said the work-to-rule will have no effect on services and contingency plans were in place.
