Man charged over parked car crash

Police have charged a 26-year-old man with causing death by dangerous driving following a collision in May in which an 18-year-old man died.

Kyle Wilkins, from Ebbw Vale was pronounced dead at the scene after the car he was a passenger in collided with a parked car near Blackwood on 25 May.

The 26-year-old man was arrested after the crash then released on police bail pending further enquiries.

He has been bailed to appear before Caerphilly magistrates on 16 September.
