A road next to an industrial estate has been reopened after a fire in a pallet yard closed it for a number of hours on Wednesday night.
Debris was strewn across the A483 after the blaze at the Rhosddu industrial estate, Rhosrobin, Wrexham.
Fire crews were called to the blaze at 2036 BST and worked to protect adjacent properties from the fire.
Meanwhile, fire crews were called to a school in Newport, south Wales to tackle a blaze involving textbooks.
Three crews from Malpas, Maindy and Cwmbran attended the fire at Gaer Junior School.
South Wales Fire and Rescue Service said the fire was located in four different areas along the ground floor corridor of the building and filled the building with smoke.
No one was injured and police are investigating the cause of the fire.
Firefighters from Wrexham, Chirk, Llangollen, Buckley and Colwyn Bay fought the blaze at the pallet yard.
The A483 had been closed both ways on Wednesday evening because of debris and smoke blowing across the road.
It reopened on Thursday morning.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said investigators would visit the site on Thursday morning to determine the cause of the blaze.
