Cinema sign blown loose by wind

Part of a cinema sign at a shopping centre near Bridgend came loose during strong winds.

South Wales Fire and Rescue Service said crews were called to the Odeon at McArthur Glen designer outlet in Sarn on Monday afternoon.

They had to secure part of the sign, which measured about 5m x 2m (16ft x 6ft).

A spokesperson for the fire service said nobody had been hurt in the incident.
