Francealle Rosser
Fran Rosser was last seen by her family on Saturday
A 43-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a woman of 60 whose body was found on wasteground in south Wales.

Police say the body found on Talbot Green industrial estate has been formally identified as Francealle Rosser, from Ton Pentre, Rhondda.

The man who was arrested on Tuesday will appear at Pontypridd magistrates on Friday morning.

The police said they were still keen to speak to any witnesses.

Mother-of-four Ms Rosser, who was known as Fran, had been missing since Saturday when she was last seen at her home in Rhondda.

It is believed she was going to meet a man in The Fox and Hounds pub in Blackmill, Bridgend, that evening.

The alarm was raised by Ms Rosser's family when she failed to go home or to work and her red Fiat Bravo car was found parked at the pub.

Her body was found on Wednesday morning on Coedcae Lane between Llanharan and Pontyclun.

Anyone who may have seen Mrs Rosser last Saturday or any other witnesses can call the incident room in Bridgend on 01656 306 099 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
