The actress was due to perform in Miss Bollywood - The Musical in St David's Hall at 1930 GMT.
However, her promoter said she would be well enough to perform in the same venue on Saturday.
Tickets for Friday's performance can be exchanged or refunded at the point of purchase, said a spokeswoman.
