Kidney blunder man's 'second op'
The original operation took place at Prince Philip Hospital, Llanelli
A hospital has refused to confirm or deny newspaper reports that Graham Reeves, whose healthy kidney was removed by mistake, has had his other kidney taken out after his condition worsened.
A spokesman for Morriston Hospital in Swansea said the only information given out was on Mr Reeves' condition, which is still said to be critical.
Mr Reeves, 69, had his healthy kidney taken out almost five weeks ago at Prince Phillip Hospital in Llanelli.

Reports in newspapers suggest surgeons have removed Mr Reeves' other kidney because it had become infected.
But the hospital refused to be drawn, saying Mr Reeves' family had given strict instructions that only condition checks were to be given out.
Doctors have ruled out restoring his healthy kidney and a transplant.
Meanwhile two separate investigations are being conducted into the bungled kidney operation.
John Roberts, the surgeon in charge of the operation, has remained on leave pending the outcome of these investigations.
Mr Reeves, a retired power station worker from Burry Port, has remained unconscious in a critical but stable condition in Morriston's intensive care unit.
The results of two inquiries into the incident are expected to be announced on Thursday.
