Conservative: Paul Windsor Davies
The Conservative candidate for the Ceredigion by-election is 31-years-old Paul Windsor Davies.

Mr Davies is single and is a Welsh speaker, from Pont Sian in west Wales.

He was educated at Llandysul Grammar School and Newcastle Emlyn Comprehensive.

He is a business banking manager with Lloyds TSB, based in Cardigan.

Mr Davies was agent to the Conservative Party candidate in Ceredigion during the last General Election, and Assembly elections.

He is deputy chairman (finance) of the Ceredigion Conservative association and is a member of the party's mid and west Wales area management executive.
