Legendary scrum-half Gareth Edwards is the Welsh sporting hero of the millennium, according to an online poll.
The poll asked users of BBC Wales News Online and Ceefax to name their Welsh sporting hero.

The clear winner was Gareth Edwards, who was also recently voted the best rugby player of all time in a BBC News Online poll.
Edwards was first capped for Wales in 1967 at the age of 19, and captained the national side the following year.
