Plaid Cymru is to begin the first phase of a re-branding process with the launch of a sonic logo.
The piece of music, created by composer John Rea, will be used to welcome internet users to the party's website.
But it could also soon be used by the party faithful as a mobile phone ringtone.
The theme-tune will be officially launched at the party's spring conference in Carmarthen, which is beginning on Friday.
Plaid Cymru AM and director of communications Helen Mary Jones says she hopes the development will help keep the party at the cutting edge of British Politics.
"Plaid Cymru have always been innovators in the field of communications," she said.

"The Triban was one of the first party-political visual images.
"As part of our re-branding process we have looked comprehensively at how the party communicates our message. The sonic logo is an important component of the re-branding process.
"These are exciting times for Plaid Cymru. The sonic logo is another idea which shows that we as a party are at the forefront of political communications," she added.
