'Strangle' attack more info plea
A road sealed off in Bethesda
Police have conducted house to house inquiries in the area
Another appeal for information has been issued after a man arrested in connection with an attack on a woman in her home was released without charge.

The 39-year-old man was released on police bail following his arrest in connection with the attempted choking of a woman from Bethesda, Gwynedd.

She was attacked on Tuesday morning by a man who forced his way into the house after asking her for water for his car.

He tried to strangle her but she fought him off and he fled.

The woman, whose young son had been at home with her, was said to have been "traumatised" but not hurt

The attack happened between 0930 BST and 1015 BST.

The woman had given the man water but 10 minutes later he returned and carried out what police described as a "serious assault"

Earlier this week police issued a description of the man they wanted to question.

He is described as being 5ft 10in, slim build and in his 40s. He had a north of England accent and wore a pair of large glasses.
