Detectives investigating the case of a young teenage girl offered for sex on beaches near Abergele say they are still hunting other men.
On Wednesday, Frederick Lawlor, 52, from Abergele in Conwy, admitted 18 sexual offences involving the girl.
Lawlor, who police described as an "evil controller", pleaded guilty to the charges at Chester Crown Court.
He will be sentenced along with six others next month. Police said they are still looking for another six men.
It was Lawlor's suspicious behaviour with the girl on a local beach that was eventually to lead to his conviction, the court heard.
Detective inspector Wayne Jones, who led the inquiry said: "Quite simply our investigation was started off by good, old-fashioned police work in the area by local officers becoming aware of incidents that were happening in their area.
"That intelligence started off our bigger investigation. We were very surprised at the type of evidence we found, the format it was in, the video recordings. However, that did prove to be invaluable in identifying the offenders in the case."
Over a period of six months, Lawlor was the focus of an investigation by more than a dozen officers from North Wales Police.
The court heard that he would take the girl to Pensarn beach near Abergale, where he offered her for sex to other men.
On other occasions, contacts would be made through magazine adverts. Some of the charges relate to video taken of the girl taking part in sex acts.
'Evil activities'
The video footage was seized during the investigation and it is six other men who appear in this footage that police are still looking to identify.
Speaking after the case, DI Jones said: "The community should be reassured that the whole investigation has found that it was the evil activities of one individual in particular that have led to us becoming involved.
"There's nothing to suggest whatsoever that there are paedophiles out there roaming - taking children off the streets or taking advantage of children."
