The Conwy Valley suffered serious flooding earlier this year

Householders and businesses are mopping up after flash flooding hit the coastline of north Wales in the early hours of Monday morning.
A house in Llandudno Junction was flooded with raw sewage, said North Wales Fire Service.
And an Asda superstore, in the same area, also had to have water pumped away after a drain overflowed outside the building.
The heavy rain came as the tail end of Hurricane Alex, which battered the eastern United States last week, passed over the UK.
In Wales, Rhyl, Prestatyn and Llandudno were the worst affected with 28mm of rainwater recorded overnight in some areas.
"It started at 0040 this morning (Monday) and since then we have had about 15 calls," said a spokeswoman for North Wales Fire Service.
The firefighters' first call was in Prestatyn where they had a report of five inches of flood water near a building.
In Rhyl near homes, water was reported to be coming over the drains and rising.
Sand bags were requested and water was pumped over the sea wall.
High tide
Fire officers were called to deal with floodwater at the Asda store, in Llandudno.
An Asda spokesman said: "The flooding was minor and few inches of flood water was dealt with by the fire service at 0430.
"No stock was damaged and the water was quickly pumped away," he added.
A spokesman for Denbighshire Council said: "Between midnight and 8.20am this morning, we received 17 calls regarding flooding.
"Calls were centred around Rhyl and Prestatyn, although isolated flooding also occurred in Rhuddlan, Bodfari, Dyserth, Ruthin and St Asaph.
"Flooding was confined to roads, driveways and some gardens. As far as we are aware, no properties were flooded."
Eirian Edwards, of Conwy Council added: "Although heavy rain, thunder and lightning were experienced in Conwy overnight, most of the county seems to have escaped serious damage.
"So far we have received reports that one house in the Llandudno area experienced some flooding but most other incidents were minor."
The forecast for the week is unsettled, BBC Wales weatherman. Derek Brockway said, adding that the weekend's rain was the remnants of Hurricane Alex, which hit the eastern United States last week.
"The outlook is getting better over the next few days but there still may be showers over north Wales, moving into England and Scotland," he said.
