Ron rejected 'I'm a celeb...'Saving Blair's bacon

Sadly, what with tuition fees and the Hutton report, I haven't had time to catch up with the latest series of I'm a Celebrity.......Get Me Out of Here!
I'm told it includes "stars" such as Neil "Razor" Ruddock, who used to play football, and Jennie Bond, the BBC's former royal correspondent.
The line-up could have been so much more exciting, if the programme makers had their way. I am told they approached the Labour Party with a view to securing the services of former Welsh secretary Ron Davies.
Mr Davies, alas, appears to have declined their request, depriving his former colleagues of the chance to vote for him to undergo several Bushtucker trials.
