Girl indecently assaulted on bus

A 16-year-old girl has been indecently assaulted by a man in his 60s on a bus in Perth, police have said.

The man followed the girl to the back of the number seven Goldline bus in Mill Street at 1630 GMT on Tuesday.

He sat down next to her and made comments of a sexual nature before indecently assaulting her.

A Tayside Police spokeswoman described him as between 62 and 68, and bald with thin greying hair around the side. He was wearing beige cords.

The spokeswoman added: "Officers are keen to speak to another teenage girl who the man was seen talking to at the bus stop in Mill Street prior to him getting on the bus.

"She too appeared uncomfortable with his attention and it's important that she gets in touch with us in order that we can investigate the incident fully."
