Detectives have confirmed the death of a man at a police station after an incident in a Dundee pub on Sunday evening was not suspicious.

Alexander Wylie, 46, was one of five men arrested following an incident at the Lowdown pub in the Seagate area.

He became unwell, and was given CPR by police officers before an ambulance took him to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police said a post mortem had shown Mr Wylie did not die from any injury.

Mr Wyllie lived in Bellisle Drive in Dundee.

Police said that as with all sudden deaths, inquiries into the full set of circumstances surrounding the incident are continuing and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

Four men have been charged in connection with the pub disturbance which happened at about 2100 GMT on 27 December.

They were released to appear at court at a later date.
