Police discover cannabis factory

A cannabis farm has been discovered at a house in Auchterarder in Perthshire, following a raid by Tayside Police.

Drug enforcement officers acting on intelligence searched the property at Glenorchil View at about 0900 BST this morning.

The force said the cultivation would have an estimated street value of about £70,000.

A 26-year-old Chinese man is due to appear at Perth Sheriff Court on Friday in connection with the find.
