Investigation into fire at flat

Police and the fire service have launched an investigation into the cause of a blaze at a flat in Dundee.

Fire crews were called to the top-floor tenement home in Milnbank Road at about 0515 BST on Sunday.

At the height of the blaze, about 18 firefighters were dealing with the incident.

The property was extensively damaged and the fire service said three people were taken to hospital for checks after breathing in smoke.
