Teen found dead in street named

Police have named a 19-year-old man who was found dead in a street in Dundee over the weekend.

The body of William Farrens, who was from the Maryfield area of Dundee, was found by a member of the public in Elm Street, at about 0620 BST on Saturday.

The teenager's death has been described as unexplained and officers have conducted house-to-house inquiries to try to find out the circumstances.

Tayside Police appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
