Woman in court accused of murder

A 33-year-old woman has been charged with the murder of a man at a house in Clackmannanshire at the weekend.

Andrea Cecilia Neill made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody at Alloa Sheriff Court.

Central Scotland Police have not yet released the name of the 46-year-old man who was found dead at a house in Alloa's Mull Court.

Officers were called to the property at about 0400 BST on Sunday. It was understood he suffered a knife wound.

The woman is due to appear in court again next Monday.
