Flat death murder probe launched

A murder probe has been launched into the death of a Big Issue seller whose body was discovered in a Dundee flat.

Patrick Robert King McDade was found in the property in Brown Constable Street at about 2150 GMT on Friday.

Tayside Police officers said that following a post mortem they were treating the death of the 37-year-old, known as Paddy, as murder.

His last sighting was at Dundee's Seagate on 17 January at 1745 GMT where he was selling the Big Issue.

Officers said they were keen to speak to anyone who may have seen Mr McDade after 17 January.
