AC/DC will not take highway to T

Organisers of T in the Park have confirmed that AC/DC will not be playing at the Kinross-shire festival.

There had been rumours and reports that the rockers would take to the stage in Balado as they promote their album.

However, those behind the music festival warned they did not want AC/DC fans to buy tickets under false pretences and then be disappointed.

The line-up for T in the Park, which takes place between 10-12 July, has not yet been announced.
