Body found in burn by dog walker

Tayside Police are investigating after the body of a man was found in a burn in rural Angus.

A dog walker made the discovery near to Burnhead Farm, Auchterhouse, at about 1030 GMT on Monday.

Officers have been to the area to remove the body, which will be examined at the police mortuary in Dundee.

The name of the man will not be released until he has been formally identified and relatives have been told about the death.
