A leading learning and development company, which operates in 20 countries worldwide, is building its new £4m headquarters in Dundee.

Construction is set to begin on the Insights HQ in the technology park. It will initially house 50 employees with a potential capacity for up to 135.

Insights aims to use the teachings of 20th Century Swiss psychologist Dr Carl Jung to help clients boost success.

Users of the firm include Royal Bank of Scotland, Boeing, BP, and Microsoft.

'Home grown success'

Insights' CEO Andy Lothian was born and bred in Dundee.

He said: "This is good news for Insights, good news for Dundee and good news for Scotland.

"Our success is based on our people and we are looking forward to creating more high-value jobs across the company."

Dundee West MSP, Joe FitzPatrick, added: "Insights represents a true home grown success story for Dundee and for Scotland.

"In a difficult global climate, an international company has given a firm pledge to retain its foundations and expand its workforce in Scotland, which must be welcomed with open arms.

"The company represents the very best in Scottish entrepreneurialism - nurturing a good idea, combined with a passionate belief in what they are offering, and succeeding in a tough international marketplace."
