Boy dies six days after car crash

A nine-year-old boy critically injured in a car crash last month has died in hospital.

Central Scotland Police said Conner Hogg, from Dennistoun, died from his injuries on Saturday.

He was the front seat passenger of a Vauxhaul Corsa that collided with a Volvo at Ballat Crossroads on the A81.

Connor had been in a critical condition at Glasgow's Southern General Hospital since the crash on 27 July. A report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.
