An inmate who went on the run from an open prison in Angus has had an extra four months added to his sentence.
Simon Lister, 28, was allowed out of HMP Noranside for home leave while serving a seven year term for attacking and robbing pensioners.
However, he did not return to the jail when he was due on 16 July. He was found on Saturday in Penicuik.
At Forfar Sheriff Court, Lister pleaded guilty to attempting to defeat the ends of justice.
Two other inmates at open prisons in Tayside absconded on the same day as Lister.
John Cartledge and Dennis Smyth did not return to Castle Huntly, near Dundee, when they were due.
Cartledge, 41, who was serving eight years for a violent assault, handed himself in and had six months added to his sentence.
Smyth, 39, who was jailed for six years and eight months in 2006 for housebreaking offences, is still at large.
