Police probe drain cover thefts

Central Scotland Police are investigating the theft of 21 drain covers from the Falkirk area.

They were stolen sometime between 0800 BST on Thursday 26 June and midnight on Monday 30 June.

They were taken from the B816 High Bonnybridge to Tamfourhill Road and the B818 in the Denny area.

The cost to replace them will run into four figures and anyone with information has been urged to contact the police force.
