Toy pellet gun 'fired at school'

Tayside Police are investigating reports that pupils were hurt when a toy pellet gun was fired at them at a primary school in Dundee.

A youngster was excluded after the incident at Barnhill Primary. It is reported that one pupil was hit in the neck and another on the hand.

Police have said they expect to take possession of a toy pellet gun as part of their investigation.

They will also speak to staff and pupils at the school.

Inquiries will also be undertaken to find out where the toy was purchased.
