Crimestoppers to target migrants

Crimestoppers card in Russian
Russian will be one of the languages, along with Polish and Czech.

Crimestoppers is hoping to encourage more migrant workers in Perth and Kinross to report information they may know about criminal activity.

The charity has produced cards in Polish, Czech, and Russian, which will be handed out through support groups, police, shops and employers.

The region has the third highest level of migrant workers in Scotland, after Glasgow and Edinburgh.

It is hoped this will assure migrants that the authorities are there to help.

The Crimestoppers phone line allows people to call anonymously to report information about offences.
