Man, 24, killed in work accident

A 24-year-old lorry driver has died in an industrial accident.

Russell Wilson, from Huntly in Aberdeenshire, was found by staff at a site operated by haulage firm Brian Harper Ltd, at Cowie near Stirling.

It is understood Mr Wilson, who worked as a delivery driver, was discovered near to a lorry at about 0730 GMT on Wednesday.

A spokesman for Central Scotland Police said they were not treating the death as suspicious.

The Health and Safety Executive is investigating Mr Wilson's death and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
